Electrical tape.  Yup, seems good.  If we liked, we could put two codes
on the pipe:  On say, the right hand half, we put essential signals
(which direction to take) and on the left-hand side, we put more
informative signals (like, 90 degree up bend ahead, etc.)  If you're not
up to tackling the tough stuff, you can use the easy signals.

I also think that 'blind alleys' off a 't' or a 'y' junction should go about
a foot or two and just stop abruptly, so if your 'bot wasn't smart enuf to
go the 'right' way, it could just drop off the maze alltogether
