Based on Calum's concept for an easier-to-construct version of the robotic
gantry and cumbersome linear storage matrix I proposed a few weeks ago.
I have some ideas on how to do a harmonic stabalizing linkage that would
ensure the gondolas remain upright, but that would deny through-access to
the carousel (which might be operationally ideal - I need a Logistics
Manager to decide that... ;) ).
Deciding on a simple, sturdy train bay design is key - I no longert have to
worry about the loader robot going inside the bay, either (an offset on the
coupler tool should be sufficent).
Trains are pretty heavy though, aren't they? Like 12 trains that take up the
length of 6 track segments - that's gonna be a lot of mass, isn't it...?
(crap!)
