Ok it seems a few people are in a tizzy, so I am hoping to defuse it a little.
But as Larry said we should let it go. (I know, if we should just let it go,
then why am I replying at all? Because I don't think it will just go away.) No
harm was intended on either side. I will try to reply to specific comments. (I
will be assuming things based on words written by others, if you feel I am
wrong, or putting words in your mouth please correct me, I am only trying to
help everyone feel hunky-dorry again, not stir up more angst.)

I think Ben was reply in reference to Tony's post:

paraphrased here:

My impression of Tony's comment is that he hadn't heard of rtlToronto or
rtlToronto/Train2, so he was afraid it was something we were going to do, and
he needed to get prepared for it. But I think Ben maybe have thought his
comment was in jest, saying that if it wasn't a MichLUG event it couldn't be
important. This prespective could be further justified because everybody and
there brother took pictures at GRGATS and we all posted them.(This is not a bad
thing, it's great. But others may/maynot be sick of seeing yet more pictures
of that MichLUG event.)

My commenting on this doesn't really pertain to the arguement, but I do want to
say that I am now indeed interesting in attending, and will have to see how it
pans out, with money, time spent with the fiancee, etc.

| Ben & All, (...) Well, Ben, it was harsh, and uncalled for. I read the post, and still find it rather bad. Your explanation, IMHO, does not seem to warrant it. (...) Hmm... it seems like it to me, this post does nothing to convince me of that. (...) (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
