I thought it was nonsense when LEGO had to offer to buy back some of the Maersk
container ships when they were able to produce a second run of them.
"Collectibles" are a gamble and the "dealers" lost. So sad, thanks for playing.
Catering to money-grubbers who hide LEGO away for years and years in the hopes
it will become valuable seems a poor way to run a business. TLG makes money from
people playing with their product.
But then, I would never waste a penny on a century-old bottle of alcohol so what
do I know.
