I hope we can continue a regular yearly "BrickFest" type atmosphere--eg, you

I totally agree.

I think Janey summed it up best when she said, "this type of show, just not
necessarily in this venue."

Yes, those were my exact words.

Or something like that.  But the point is that I
think there is a definite need for a gathering in this area be it a public
display or a semi-public event with seminars etc.

Oh, and once again congratulations to Janey on her election as President of LEGO
Builders Local 321.  I'm sure she'll rise to the post as she does with all her
other activities.

LOL, election??? Wow, I think I missed that moment...
Why do I have a feeling it is one of those times where everyone stands in a
line... and someone says "Anyone interested please step forward" and then the
rest of the people in the line all take a step back, while I stand there and not
noticing I'm a foot ahead of everyone???  WINK!
Kidding of course, I jumped in, eyes wide shut, and head over feet.

In all honesty it's just a part of what makes me tick, I tend to get a kick out
of volunteered involement, especially when related to art, education, or
building. Frankly, the rewards for me are always greater than the input.

(...) That's good. Because the only other Janey quote I could remember wasn't really ready for prime time. ;) (...) It was a secret ballot taken while you weren't there.
