Learn also the lessons of such great hobbies as Meccano collecting--when the
company goes away, you'll be scavenging for any parts (no matter what the
colour) you can get your hands on.
Fer crying out loud, say "Why thank you Jake for coming to our little hobby
convention even though you didn't have to." or "Wow Greg! Nice work!"
