the first robot to climb the twelve foot height to ring the bell will

I've been dying to do a rope/over our heads game for a long long time.    LEAVE
NO PART OF YOUR ROBOT ON FLOOR.  YOU TAKE IT ALL, DINK. :)

When you say the whole robot...

never mind.  I think that's pretty clear.  :)

Just a suggestion from an 'outsider' (non-RTL person) - how about robots that
have to climb the rope, then back down to the ground, and back to their starting
spot, or to a common "finish line"? ...
Me?  I'll stick with trains, thank you very much!

This suggestion has already been added to the "Rob, Matthias, Greg" pile, right?

In defence of Rob, he showed up for Marble Sorting (or hoarding... whatever).

In defence of me, I've let the leaders know when I was going to be involved, or
not going to be involved, in a competition well before hand.

Don't 'dumb' things down so I'l lenter--if the competiton's too tasking for my
limited capabilities, such as C$, I'll just go off and run another marble
sorting/block stacking/whatever competitoin on the side.  I know I had lotsa fun
on Saturday, and I don't think we interfered too much with the C$, and the folks
who entered marble collectiong 'bots got the best of both worlds--they werein a
contest and they got to see the other contest.  I know for no apparent reason
Heather was spending lots of time watching the C$ competitions, as did basically
every other entrant in Marble Sorting.

So again, I will rise to the demand of the people.  If they want a 'dumber game'
to enter, I'm your guy ;)

This rope climbing thing seems intriguing, though with certain individuals, it
may be another battery box thing again.

(...) The rope climbing sounds interesting... I could try it. However, I always up for a "marble sorting/block stacking/whatever competition." Maybe enter both! And I'll really, really try to be there this time! -Greg (20 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
