  rtl 14 time extension?

I'm wondering if we could make the matches a bit longer? My robot is pretty darn slow. I found I had to gear things WAY down to provide enough torque to dig through the rice. I wonder if there are others in a similar situation? Not that it really (...) (21 years ago, 9-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  I hate rice

After a full day of building, I have come to the conclusion I'm screwed. Our plan of attack is quite flawed. I have a nice robot that jumps happily into the rice (actually, the jump into the rice could also be a suicide attempt... haven't actually (...) (...) You can count me in too. I have collaborated with a friend. The fruit of our labour is the biggest, heaviest, slowest, and most complicated robot we have ever built. (...) Sure! Maybe I can get my hopper working 100% by then... ;) Rob (21 years ago, 9-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
