Rob, thanks for the try. As well as asking for help here, I sent out a few e-mails to entomologists who left their e-mail address on the web. to my pleasant surprise, one replied within a few hours to tell me that what I had seen was indeed a wasp. OK. once again I'm going off topic. - tough! I am not an entomologist, nor do I claim to be one. I have little interest in insects. Can someone please tell me the exact dimensions of one lego stud? Or, ideally, can someone please put a whole bunch of plates together, and measure how long 66 studs is? Why? I'm a big fan of building sets using only box cover pictures. I can tell you for a fact that even the box-cover photos don't necessarily reflect exactly what you get inside.
