  Re: Arena...

At the most recent block stacking event I believe I won with a stack of 9 and I could have definitely gone to 13 but after seeing my 'competition' I told the robot that 9 would be more (...)   Re: multiplexer at rtl12

For the record, I'd like to suggest custom sensors be allowed in the future. With that said, I doubt they will be allowed, at least for a while. I understand the reasoning for not allowing this type of thing. And I really don't disagree with it. (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Arena...

One of the competition ideas which didn't make it to BrickFest this year was to be in a walled enclosure. In the design process, I discovered that a line is not a good idea. You need a black border going all the way to the wall. If you put a line (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: multiplexer at rtl12

  Re: Arena...

I thought about the tape idea and i can see no reason why not to have it..... so if the people who will be building the board (dave/bruce) want to do it then go for it. Chris (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  multiplexer at rtl12

I have a quick rules question. I'm not sure if I need it, but are sensor multiplexers allowed for rtl events? (like touch sensor multiplexers?) I know there are other ways of doing this, but I just want to know what is, and what isn't allowed. Steve (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: 4107 Basic Bricks Photo

I've got data for the statistical comparison between the 4107 and the 3033. Seeing as I got 8 of the 4107 this weekend and I have (had) 7 reserve 3033s and I'm always wining about lack of space, I decided to compress them down. I found that the (...) (...) Mmm, yes, I bought 2 this weekend. (...) I did the math this weekend, and left it at home.   Re: Arena...

Hi Dave, I have an idea that would be a nice addition to the standard playing field. What if there was a high contrast line placed about 15 cm (6 inches) within the walls? This would allow robots to detect the line a back away from the perimeter (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
