Re: The least you could do!

(...) OK OK OK. since you asked so nicely. ;) Lets see if i can remember the entire day. First we had an amazing turnout. we had about 12 working robots that entered.   The least you could do!

Come on guys! Those of us who lurk at your news group are dying to know who won this battle of the bots. Was it Rob again? Another battery box wonder? Please share! -- Bob Fay THE SHOP (URL) (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Guess what.

What a bummer Derek! I would have loved to see your bot run (especially at 19.94 seconds). The worst thing is that Chris would have been bumped down into 3rd place -- non-prize territory! Easy insurance against similar problems in the future: how (...) (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Guess what.

Just ran my bot here at home and I did the anti X in 19.94 seconds with a placement score of 75. (7 perfect, 1 good) I don't know what was so different about the library. I got none of the spastic behaviour I was getting at the there. Its so (...) (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: AC adapters anyone??

(...) Each round will have a start pattern handed out. In the round, pairs will run together. Which means if we have 10 competitors, there'll be five face offs in the round, and five "time" winners.   AC adapters anyone??

Hi everyone, can anybody bring some spare AC adapters for the RCX's? I'm sure that everyone is going to need them. I think there will be a shortage. Are we all going to be running at the same time? Phil (23 years ago, 22-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: A thousand and one uses for the 3033 tub

(...) My son and I use the tub for snow bricks to build snow-ball forts. You can just drag it along the ground filling it and then tamp extra handfulls of snow in make tight bricks. Then they stack fairly nicely to build fort walls. Chris (23 years ago, 22-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.general)
