  Mosaic project

Hi folks, Mario and I finished his mosaic project this weekend. It's a 96x48 mosaic: (URL) was a hell of a lot harder than I had expected. First was the problem that we were working with a limited supply of bricks (dual 1200 piece tubs). We tried a (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  latest train project info.....

Just to let you know, I've decided to scrap the Genesis Engine altogether... I wanted to make that design, but the (original) club car only has one hole on each of its sides, making a (regular) train motor real hard without putting an additional (...)   Re: personal challange

(...) this is what i think i meant. because you have to name each array with a constant A(1) = 100 A(2) = 200 A(4) = 300 this is really no different than just a funny variable naming system A = 100 B = 200 C = 300 BUT if you could do this: var A(n) (...)   Re: rtlToronto10 Tentative Rules Preview

(...) I think you have a point, but I think due to the "spirit of game", I think the fishing line doesn't cross the line. If he wants his gantry crane to use the line to "make it faster" by pinching it....then I (personally don't think there's (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: personal challange

(...) No Problem. You should check out Dave Baums books on NQC. I have them, and I would be a much better programmer if I had worked through all of the examples. But, I haven't found much time for that. I always spend more time on mechanical (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto10 Tentative Rules Preview

I only mention it because Iain was so desperate to use it, and at the dinner after rtl9 I recall Chris, after much persuasion said he could. I believe in the end we decided as a group it was ok, for this contest only. Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway (...) (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto10 Tentative Rules Preview

(...) Well, here's the question of the week: Should something like monofilament/fishing line be allowed? We've always said basic rubber bands and cotton string that approximates Lego string and rubber bands would be perfectly fine. But fishing line (...)   Re: Encounter @ COSTCO

(...) Nope, neither one of those. Since Tim hasn't officially announced the 3 new sets I won't list them here, but if you go the the fbtb link listed above and then go into the HP forum you will see that Tim has basically let the cat out of the bag.   Re: rtlToronto10 Tentative Rules Preview

  Re: Encounter @ COSTCO

(...) I think the HP Hogwarts Castle has a lot of great pieces, its stunningly beautiful, and coincidently is the same price as Leo's Castle.... ???? Anyways...I will probably end up buying the HP kit...and buy a couple HP sets also...like a few (...) (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Encounter @ COSTCO

Encounter @ COSTCO Today while shopping at COSTCO on Woodbine I encountered an individual who I believe to be Jin Sato. It just so happens that we were both looking at the New (URL) Harry Potter Castle right next to each other. It was only $99.99 (...) (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

ROB, you are the best.!!!!!! this bit of documentation was all the answer i needed. thank you!!! its a shame that you have to use a constant to assign the array. :( BUt this is better than nothing.   Bule 1x3 inverted slope?

Does anyone know of any sets that are currently available that contain blue 1x3 inverted slopes? I've only been able to find one set that has them, the creator bucket, but I haven't seen it for sale anywhere. I need four of these, but wouldn't mind (...)   Re: rtlToronto10 Tentative Rules Preview

Hey... could i just build something that shakes the game board for a long time? Probability dictates that eventually, i will come up with the right pattern... or maybe i could get an infinite number of monkeys (from rtl9) on an infinite number of (...)   Re: personal challange

I actually understood mostof what he said :) I was thinking, originally, about getting a 4x4 black plate, and 16 1x1 round white plates (headlights), putting the pattern of white 'dots' on (...)
