There we go! I was thinking "five hours?! you call that LONG?
that's my average length of any serious gaming" Last night I actually
got mildly obsessive and played Pokemon Blue for almost eight hours.
(man I love that Pokemon Stadium add-on! nothing like playing Pokemon
on your tv). Course, that doesn't come close to some of my Gran
Turismo Marathons. During Xmas two years ago, I had a bad cold and
ended up playing Gran Turismo for somewhere round 15 hours, my thumb
developed a lovely blister from holding down the gas and hitting the
breaks. The other really long one in recent years was Playing
Phantasy Star III all the way from the beginning to the beginning of
the third generation in one sitting. (Somewhere around 10 hours if I
remember correctly.)

| I got GT2 last month, and I have to say that Namco's NeGcon controller makes those 24-hour sessions just fly past. *smirk* It's an analog racing controller that you twist, vaguely like a steering wheel. The other great thing about NeGcon; analog gas (...) (25 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
