Seems like it all boiled down to this: if they announce the songs ahead of time, that gives the listener the power to change the station if they aren't interested. And announcements (...)    Follow-up: I am starting to buy in to the market experiment argument. Up until about a week ago, all the on-air contests were of the "caller number seven" nature.
