The press, at least, asked what I consider to be better questions. They seemed
to be slightly apologetic or evasiv about the way they asked them--"There are
those who say that.... How would you respond to those critics?"
At least the questions were asked.
Though when Dubya said that this "war on terror" is a serious matter, and that
the loss of life is sad, my first followup question wold have been, "What about
the 'winning the tri' joke and the 'on your knees looking for WoMD in the Oval
Office' joke?" But that's just me.
