Sure, why not..

website:

http://www.miltontrainworks.com (commercial... buy something!)
http://my.voyager.net/~lar (slushpile of poorly organized stuff)

Residence:

Ada, Michigan, USA, but can be found practically anywhere in the US (don't
seem to travel overseas as much post 911) at any given moment as I travel
for my job. Started in o-t.d in the very beginning (I may have one of the
first 10 posts, not sure) (1) Heck, started on LUGNET before it was public.

Political:

Libertarian... probably minarchist rather than anarcho-capitalist

Economic:

Laissez-Faire Capitalist

Religious:

Raised atheist. Can be occasionally convinced to be agnostic if I'm
intoxicated at the time or in a particularly expansive mood.

Education:

BS Comp Sci: Michigan Technological University '83
MS Comp Eng: Syracuse University '93 (I think)

Family Status:

Wife Josette (going on 22 years as of this writing)
Daughter Taya (13 as of this writing, very into horses, she rides english
jumper which is what Leanie is)
Son Nik (11 as of this writing, into video/PC games, soccer, and LEGO)
Ersatz daughter Yulia (21, former exchange student from Siberia that we
"adopted", currently a senior in Comp Sci at GVSU)

Pets:
Recently departed cats Bobby and Sally were with us for over 10 years. I
sort of miss them but will deny it vociferously as it's bad for my anti-cat
reputation.
Cats: Misfit and Sebastian, both ex-boys (spay your pets!)
Horse: Ilene Bella Bean ("Leanie" as we call her)

Career:

12 years at IBM (10 doing electronic CAD programming, 2 comm software)
5 years Cambridge Technology Partners (SI consulting)
3.5 years Mercator Software (enterprise application integration SW company,
in PS/consulting)

Viewing:

Don't watch TV much, except for news. Will watch trendy comedies or stuff
like Law and Order if it's on but don't make it a point to catch them.

Most recent movie: Holes. Prefer Fantasy/SF movies (both LoTR, most Trek
movies, Star Wars, Potter, movies by Kubrick, James Cameron, etc)

Reading:

The Economist, Reason, Private Pilot(2), car rags, industry rags, Wired
(think of it as "People" for techies)

Authors: Most hard SF, with fondness for Card, Brin, Niven, Pournelle and
especially Heinlein

Interests:

Being with my kids, Reading, swimming, PC games, music/clubbing/blues, travel

1 - nope. My first post is 61, I think...
http://news.lugnet.com/off-topic/debate/?n=61 and it's questioning whether a
topic belongs in the group. How typical!

2 - Pilot/Plane owner wannabe. I could buy a heck of a nice plane with what
I spent on LEGO!

In lugnet.off-topic.debate, Larry Pieniazek writes: <snip> (...) Agreed (...) Just for some sense of appeasement, and maybe know who's who here, (and this is totally not on-topic for off-topic ;) ) but would it be nice to have an o.t-d 'roll call' (...)
