I agree with both Kirby and Chris wholeheartedly. Legalizing drugs
would most definately solve more problems than it would create. Those who
sit and believe that if legalized drugs would still be sold by your local
corner pusher need a strong dose of the realities of the market economy.
Can you honestly sit and believe that there are no corporations out there
who would jump at the chance to have a highly addictive product such as
cocaine produced, packaged and marketed by fields, factories and offices
that they own? With the legalization of drugs the corner pusher is out of
business as are the middlemen who refine, traffic and import new substances
into cocaine. But god forbid the US government change the situation from
one in which there is little to no control over the product produced to one
in which they can regulate the product.
