As far as i know it is not illegal to send travelers checks, also a lot les
risk of loss, due to being insured, you shoulfd check with american express,
exchange costs should be problem of seller, not of buyer, as he probably gave
you a dollar price for the items, hope i could help

I want to say I ended up spending close to an extra (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.market.theory)
