Re: who needs a ride to GATS Jan 25/26 2003

(...) I live near Don Scott Airport, right on the border between Columbus and Dublin. I would very much like to set up a meet for AFOL's FOL's, but have never done this. Anyone want to help me out? Paul (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Tuttle Mall; KBToys & Kiosk

I was browsing through the Tuttle Mall (I am not sure why, but I had time to kill I guess). Here is what I found: Lego has a Kiosk on the lower level; first one I had seen but it may have been there for a while now. Looked exactly like the other (...)   Meijers on Brice Rd.

Tonight I was happy to discover that the Meijers on Brice road had/have some Lego on clearance. I picked up two Ultimate Assessory Sets for 17$ each. They have two DDKs for 50$ each; an Alpha Team (something) set, but I don't recall the price; A (...) (22 years ago, 5-Oct-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Anyone home?

(...) I've been dealing with RL as well. Getting married, buying house, working on house, being sick, dealing with work. I did finally get back into doing my lego comic strip (warning, adult humor not meant for kids) at (URL) need a vacation. (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  20% off at Kohl's

Sunday morning flyer, Sept. 22. 20% off all LEGO sets at Kohl's. Good thru Sept. 28. Kohl's has sporadicly good selection. Some stores have better collections than others. Kohl's sticker prices are a little higher than at the discount stores, but (...) (22 years ago, 23-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Anyone home?

(...) For me, at least, real life interferes. That, and I had a period of about two weeks where I simply could not get my newsreader to connect to lugnet at all. (That was a few months ago, and in my frustration, I simply turned off lugnet in my (...) (22 years ago, 23-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Anyone home?

Where is everyone? It's been months since any posts have come through here. What's up? Anything of note happening? Any new builds or projects in the works? I've been experimenting with water slip decals and that's really about it, myself, other than (...) (22 years ago, 14-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Re: Slave 1's in Columbus

I bought two from the Brice Road Target two days ago. They had plenty on the shelf. Of course a lot can happen in a couple days. Also, the W. Broad KMart still had quite a few of the soccer sets (3408 I believe) and the like. Plus a few of the small (...) (22 years ago, 24-May-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Slave 1's in Columbus

The Lennox Target is out of stock but is offering them at the sale price. I went ahead and got a rain check but I plan to check the one over on my side of town tonight...   Local bargains?

Well, I posted a few days ago stating that I had seen little by the way of bargains lately. I need to update that since I found the W. Broad St. Target with the RIS 2.0 for 99.90 and a couple of the large bionicle sets for 50% off as well. I left (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  K-mart close out - LEGO 50% off

Anyone looking to buy right now may want to look at the two K-marts in town that are being closed. Specifically, I was at the West Broad store last night. All toys are 50% off. They don't have the best set variety but they had a lot of: 3403 and (...) (22 years ago, 11-May-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Brickfest '02

Just wondering. Is anyone from Columbus entertaining thoughts of attending Brickfest in July? I'm not even sure how serious I am, but I'm considering it. Joel J (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

(...) <<snipped>> (...) Joe -- welcome to .oh.col! I finally broke down. We went to see Spiderman on opening night and now I'm the owner of both of the LEGO sets. Go figure.   Re: livening things up

(...) I'm up for another gathering sometime. But I doubt I'll be able to make anything between mid-june and mid/late august. I'm getting married and the house should be done around then as well. I'm gonna' be just a tad busy. (22 years ago, 6-May-02, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

  Green Tractor

I put together a green (and white) tractor and a brush mower. Tractor/Farm models don't seem especially widespread online.
