  Re: Hogwarts Castle -it's official!

(...) I notice that www.argos.co.uk won't let you reserve/buy it online. Is that a euphamism for sold out? Also they have a few sets reduced. Bionicle manas for £49.99 (from 69.99) Now don't all crawl sideways very slowly at once for this one. Mark (23 years ago, 29-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Nesquick Bunny also found in.... Was: Minifigs in the Beano

(...) Hmm. I bought one yesterday (they only had the Bunny fig). Now I know why I don't get it more often... very dull. The free club one is quite a bit better. Watch out for the next club mag, my daughter (me really) has mailed them a picture of (...) (23 years ago, 29-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.mediawatch)

  Re: Slating Ebay

(...) Scott, Actually I think your best recent buy was the 4543 wagon and digger set on Sunday. I had every intention of nipping in and taking that back off you and then forgot all about it. When I went back later and saw it had gone for £5.50 I (...) (23 years ago, 28-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: LEGO Racers 2

(...) I'm waiting for Christmas, since my wife asked for a suggestion. I enjoyed the original immensely, so I'm looking forward to the new version. My machine is only a K6-2 @ 500 MHz, so your comments about sluggishness of play are disquieting. I (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.games.lego.racers, lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Saw the movie today!

(...) Well, I haven't read the books, and I'm glad to say that this didn't matter much in following the film. But, I can still see some apparent abbreviations.   Re: JoeFish, the amazing moving website!

  JoeFish, the amazing moving website!

Greetings all. My website and e-mail have moved - sorry to anyone who linked to me, and I'm also sorry I don't have many links to other peoples' yet.   Re: Slating Ebay

(...) I suffered this once - the condition of the item only very loosely matched the description. I didn't pursue it because it was only of low value, but caveat emptor, as you say. (23 years ago, 26-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Slating Ebay

(...) I have to agree, if you look closely at most of the problems with people bidding on ebay, it appears that the items were not what the person expected when they arrived.
