I didn't have a problem with the seller selling a Lego Lamborghini, I had a
problem because he was selling my Lego Lamborghini, or a close approximation
thereof. If you still don't believe it's copied, see some of the other posts
in this thread which list all the copied features. Consider Dan Siskind's
Blacksmith Shop for example. How do you think he would have felt if Lego
didn't give him credit and a nice check when they started selling a modified
version of his design?

That's not the point. If someone copied, for example, Ben Fleske's Millenium
Falcon, you'd be able to tell it was his design, and not just another Falcon.

I hope you didn't mean this seriously. I enjoy sharing my work with other
enthusiasts, and do expect people to use ideas of mine. Lots of people have
built copies of my Dodge Charger. When they take pictures of their own
modifications and post them on BrickShelf, they have always mentioned that I
created the original design. I'm quite flattered by the fact that people enjoy
my models so much they want to build their own versions. However, that doesn't
give them the right to sell my ideas, IMO.
