There were a few pieces I looked at where I thought may look cool for some
underwater aquarium (a new feature for your town) and a few other pieces too
that are quite strange but may be useful, but not knowing what these sets
really look like in-hand I think there is a possibility that there could be
a few other gems? Hope so, yeah jr etc but afterall Lego wants to still
point their ideas etc towards children, otherwise they'd keep making more
models adult orientated such as large models or more adult appealing where
children don't want to spend long hours putting them together.
I have a five year old son who finds many of the sets quite enough as they
are when it comes to time and building, like the Star Wars Sets, he puts
them together without any help and has done since three but any bigger and
they just loose interest as they want it put together asap so they can play
with it etc. I think this is Lego's point.
I know that with these sets though that there are some fairly ok presents
for him in store, and maybe many other children too.
I just can't wait to see what style Lego builds Harry Potter in, I do hope
there will be a range in that where we all can he some what happy : )
But what is Jack Stone? some new action hero? I think that it would be cool
if Lego tried atleast once (apart from the extra large SW sets etc) to come
up with a more adult minded theme/sets and see how we respond, depending on
what it is, they could be in for a big shock!... Let hope and see...
Mel (who still thinks Lego should bring out a classic series of all the good
old favourites! - "I want a Monorail")
