I was in a coles supermarket on the weekend [sunbury] and noticed that they had a small range [10-20 different small sets] of lego [about 40 sets in total] I was wondering if this is in all Coles, or just a select few, and also when they started (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

These FOOTBALL sets are great! I bought one of just about each set, and I spent two hours playing around with how i could make the seating tiered and mutli-level. And the prices on them are fantastic too! So the potential for making a stadium are (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

The target store in bulcreek has sets #8509,8510,8511,8512,8513,8514 aka the roboriders. They had all of them except 8514 power. They also had 2 of the dinosaur adventurers sets (very small ones, dont know the # but they dont have any dinos in them (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

I think this is a case of 'we put the sets in the catalogue...kids will expect to see them...price is too high...if we drop the price on these, maybe kids will return to lego, as it's now "cheaper" to buy, and these will act as starter sets for kids (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Mmmmm. Toyworld Bowral, renowned for early release but RRP, also has them, 3409 at $59. This makes much more sense than the $115 I seem to recall we originally expected. And at $20 for the buses, that doesn't seem so bad either. I should be able to (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
