Maybe you could use redbeard torsos. And are peglegs allowed to play?
A few questions:
(1) With the big price reductions, is anyone still interested in doing some
sort of Legoz combined stadium? I'm guessing most people will get some of the
sets, if just for the bricks, but I still think it would be a cool way for us
to own Lego in common. We could donate spare minifigs for spectators, TV crew,
linesmen, serial pests (who could forget the World Cup qualifier in
Melbourne?) and so on.
(2) Is an AFL adaption possible? (I'd like to see that!!! (cue -- everyone
groaning)) Maybe we can think of some rules for taking marks, tackling etc.
With enough sets combined it might work... I don't think either rugby code
would work (unless you just want to bash minifigs together really hard on some
green tiles).
(3) Do we get the women's conversion kit (hair and heads) that seems to be
have been released in America? Could LA send out the bag to people as though
it was left out by mistake? Maybe this could go in Santosh's first letter,
since it's not so much of a "why do we get treated like rubbish" complaint as
a genuine "this is really cool thing we'd like to see in sets released here"
suggestion. And if LA releases a Matilda's set, will it come with bonus yellow
torsos and legs?
