Re: a trick to make NEW trainwheels work - PICTURE SERIE

(...) ... I tried. For step 2, I used one #3673 Technic Pin and two cut-up part #3749 (Technic, Axle Pin). The middle rib isn't quite as wide, and it made it easier not to push it in too far (and I have more of them.) I found that after step 3, it (...)   Re: Super Chief set not ready for prime-time

I ment that I called up LEGO and they sent me a whole new set of wheels. THey had no problem with it. After replacing the old SF wheels with the new, I looked at what would cause the high friction. It looks like the outer most diamater of the wheel (...) (22 years ago, 16-Oct-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

I would also like to get more official info on this, but by inspection and from what they have made in the past, it is almost certainly a one-piece receiver, battery pack, drive-and-steer motor combo. It may not even be proportional steering, but it (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

OK, it's "x2 - (Hub that some people use for steam engine wheels)" that I am wondering about. Would that be: part 4266, which is the smaller "sponge wheel" hub (URL) so, I don't know if that's good or bad, as I'm going to want at least 18 of them (...)
