Speaking for myself, I am NOT Mr. Moneybags.
For this reason, I am quite happy with the speed at which Lego Direct
releases new selections. Due to the financial constraints of the normal
working [1] individual, I'd say that LD is doing many of us favors by not
moving too fast. I still have not recovered enough financially from the
second round offerings to get any of the My Own Trains or Brown slope
bricks, for example.
I have read comments here in the past by AFOLS who say things like 'My wife
will kill me when she sees the credit card bill.' Image how financially bad
things would be if LD did move at the pace you recommend??
Now, as for building and creating new stuff, I am with you on the speed it
up idea. But some of us just have to be content with what we have at home
already in order to build cool stuff.

checks on Lego.
