Hey Y'all:

Taking a tip from another Lugnut, I ask:

How many cypress trees would you order if they came back as an accessory
offering?

At a price point of approx. $0.75 USD each, I would order 200 minimum.

(...) Given that price point, I would probably order 10 (because, at a guess, that's the volume they'd be available as). I doubt I would order more. James (23 years ago, 20-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Just had to go check S@H's prices: 10 large spruce for $6.99 - .69 ea. 25 small Psruce for $7.99 - .32 ea. .75 ea. for cypress trees would be a steal! I'd order 10 bags of 10 trees for that price! Bring back the round fruit trees, too. I want to (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Not very many.... (...) Ya, that's about what I'd order at that price point. That is: "not very many". :-) Still I think it would be neat if they *were* available and I think it's cool that you're taking a survey to see if the numbers are (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Put me in for order about 4-5 bags of 10 trees each! (23 years ago, 20-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
Re: How Many Cypress Trees Would You Order?

(...) At least a 100. We need more trees that are taller than people. John #388 (23 years ago, 20-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
Re: How Many Cypress Trees Would You Order?

(...) I would order a dozen trees-- $9.00 worth. Enough to make a small tree lined boulevard, and if I liked the look I'd order a bunch more. BTW I wouldn't place a separate for order these but would wait and append them to my next (larger) S@H (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Probably 1-200 if they were about $.75/ea. I'd LOVE it if they were even cheaper, though ;-) (...) -- Tom Stangl ***(URL) Visual FAQ home ***(URL) Bay Area DSMs (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
Re: How Many Cypress Trees Would You Order?

(...) 200 Cypress Trees would be about right for me, too. AND, if a new, larger size Cypress Tree were introduced, I would take 200 of those, also. PLUS, if a new trimmed hedge-stye shrub or bush were introduced, I would take 500 of them. __Kevin (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) I'd go for 50 or so. Dan M. (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
Re: How Many Cypress Trees Would You Order?

(...) That is my absolute favorite tree. We need taller trees. I would order at least 50 or maybe even more. They look great in parks and around tall buildings. John W. (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: How Many Cypress Trees Would You Order?

(...) I'm not long on cypress trees, but the more variation, the better. 20 - probably not much more. But I don't do town, where I think they would be popular. In general, I'd like to see more vegetation. I have about 50 spruce trees, and I'm (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
Re: How Many Cypress Trees Would You Order?

Personally, I wouldn't buy any. I'd rather build my own, a la John Gerlach's creations here: (URL) about packs of *those* elements or something similar-- then you could build whatever size, shape, etc. you wanted. These trees make the cypress trees (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

I'm so pleased to have people discussing different types of foliage...that is so cool! =) On another note, does anyone have any information regarding how many other persons are represented by the persons actually posting to Lugnet?   Re: How Many Cypress Trees Would You Order?

Hmmm... I'd probably have to buy a few hundred too. I don't consider myself to have a small collection (ok its tiny compared to some of you out there) but I've never had a cypres tree :( (cue violin music) I do have one of those old bushes which (...)   I WANT FOLIAGE!!! (was Re: How Many Cypress Trees Would You Order?)

Previously, I wrote this: (...) Today I bid on this: Lego #5192 CYPRESS TREES X6 SERVICE BAGS! Item # 1609955387 which closed at $109.50 USD. Why didn't I win this auction?
