Re: WHY SO LONG ON Light Gray?

(...) I couldn't agree more! I just ordered 1000 2x4 Bricks and they cost me more than when I used to oreder them. I would really like a real quanity discount instead of just item availability. Doyle (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Tim may correct me (don't know if he reads this board, don't care enough to X-post it), but I'm pretty sure the catalog came out of a FBTB reader's Darth Maul or other new SW set, which was then mailed to Tim. This last question is one that probably keeps some people from ordering bulk parts (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) If they did this, (or any other true bulk offering, by volume or by quantity 1000+) I'm willing to bet that even if it's more than joe public is willing to buy, joe brickbay seller will happily do it.   Re: WHY SO LONG ON Light Gray?

(...) Yeah I agree with you. I think they should have bulk selections in quantities of 25, 100, and 1000+ (for example) for the average, serious, and insane builder, respectively.   Re: WHY SO LONG ON Light Gray?

I don't think it's unrealistic for people to want to purchase 1000 or 10,000 of a particular element, especially basic bricks.
