    Re: 2 Things... —Todd Lehman
(...) Do you mean the indented quoted text on the full-article view? Too light and too small? (...) Would it be better if the first More: All | Brief | Compact link on each group page repeated the 4 shown messages when you clicked it? In other (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

        Re: 2 Things... —James Brown
(...) Yes and no. I hadn't actually noticed that yet when I posted that, but yes, I find the quoted text too small/light/hard to read. I thought it worked quite well when quoted text was simply italicized and faded once, rather than getting (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

        Re: 2 Things... —James Brown
(...) And, as I forgot to mention, the text size is also too small (for me) to be comfortably scanned on the compact listings (and presumably on the others, as well) (...) OO! OO! Tried it. Liked it. No further testing necessary. Now, if only I (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

         Re: 2 Things... —Todd Lehman
(...) I could make the subject line one size larger in the compact listings, if that would help. It's at SIZE="-2" now, and it could probably go to SIZE="-1" and still fit 20 messages on a 800x600 laptop display. (...) OK, give that a shot now. (...)          Re: 2 Things... —Todd Lehman
(...) Oh. I think I know what you mean now. There's really nothing odd going on there. You're just seeing the natural width of the articles -- they're all 80-column text. It's probably just a bit misleading because they're shown in the default (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

A lurkers opinion (formerly: Re: 2 Things...) —Don Heyse
OK, you've forced me out of lurkerdom with the new interface. I realize as a lurker, my opinions may be less valuable than some, but since you seem to be open to suggestions... I like seeing the recent news on the front page, but I would prefer to (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) I like it! I like it a lot better! Now if you could attach the message titles to the little blue squares and make a bigger mousing target I'd be completely happy.         Re: 2 Things... —Todd Lehman
   (...) Let's try this...
