I've always thought of these as "electric eyes", even though I can't
recall having ever seen them used as such in an official set. That's
just what they always looked like to me. And since my youth was spent
almost entirely in Classic Space, I hadn't seen them used as headlights
until after my Dark Age.

| At the risk of branding myself a bigger geek than I already am, I have decided to post this anyway. :) While I'm building a model or sorting pieces, I sometimes refer to certain of my favorite pieces by a nickname... based on what that piece reminds (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-03, to lugnet.general) !
