LEGO disappearing from small toyshops —Thomas Main
Hardly any small toyshops seem to carry LEGO anymore. I've been told that toyshop owners don't like to carry it because it's too "mass market" and they specialize in quality toys. Also, I suppose it is hard for toyshop owners to compete with the (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) That's an excellent idea. I second that ! :) These days, LEGO Direct seams to be our only hope as the "right" LEGO. mc. (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

I would beg to differ!!! I think the range of Lego in the South East has dropped dramatically since the aftermath of Star Wasr Episode I and the closure of all the Toy Stack stores (they were great for sale items).      (...) Um, isn't this *really* big news? A minimum buy of $1000 would make it reasonable for some parts sellers to buy Lego at wholesale.
