Guess I'm a geek, then -- by virtue of the fact that I'm married? In fact, if
it weren't for the arrival of my son (turned five last week), I wouldn't have
gotten sucked back in to the world of Lego.
You two seem to be split over the issue of tidiness. Isn't keeping a space
that you can share with another person a social skill? A nerd's tidiness,
then, would seem to be a social plus. As long as that tidiness isn't Felix
Unger compulsive, that is.
My engineer friend with the huge junk collection is also married, to a very
patient and understanding woman. So, I guess that keeps him out of the nerd
category. Actually, *she* collects books like nobody I know, so perhaps
they're birds of a feather!
