Are the majority of AFOLs geeks?  Or... more to the point...

What variety of occupations/interests does the Lugnet community and AFOLs in
general represent?

I don't think I'm a geek. I currently work in Publishing but its only a job
to get me to the next one. My previous 'career' job was floor manager in a
factory, it couldn't get more blue collar, and I mean old school blue
collar. Totally union, 'take you outside & mess you up if you disagree with
me' union.
I'm 31 now, was there for 4 years & the average age of my employees was
probably mid 50's, guys that grew up on the streets here in NYC. I had to
leave because of the stress, took a big pay cut for better quality of life.
Now I have the energy & time to devote to my hobbies (LEGO, songwriting, &
LEGO). I have what I consider to be very little computer knowledge &
virtually no college education....slept my way through high school too.
I am proud of what I've done with what I have education wise though.

Jonathan
