I consider myself a buider and tinkerer...
I tend to do futuristic or sci-fi (as opposed to space...it has been said my
creations are "not spacey" enough)

I tend to work multiple MOCs in multiple themes on a long-term rotating
basis...I like to keep a mix of small and large ideas/models
Recently, I have derived much satisfaction out of designing minifig weapons
and vehicles. In the past, I focused on monstrous structures and large
vehicles.

My success ratio is probably in the 1 in 10 range.
Occasionally I have "spurts of innovation" when I get on a roll and I am
satisfied with much of my work...then, months may go by without anthing
"working".
I have a relative that lives by the motto:
"The rate of innovation is directly proportional to the rate of
experimentation."
I guess I subscribe to this idea more or less... you all would be amazed at
the amount of stuff I throw against the wall before something sticks. I
take pictures of less than a quarter (25%) of my experiments
(more likely 10%).
Intersting topic to ponder... Since this is my hobby, something I do for me,
I am not always concerned about finishing a model.
