I second that! Lego is still the best construction toy around. However, this
is more and more due to the lack of quality you get from the 'other toys'
where it used to be due to the quality of Lego itself...
The quality of the bricks is still good; no tolerance in the measurements and
a lot of good colors. However, the sets are _less_than_average_ and in this
field TLG is loosing customers IMHO.

| I read in the WSJ a couple of weeks ago that the big toy stores like Toys R Us and WalMart etc also had a bad season, people are getting really bored with all the junk they sell, whereas the smaller speciatlity toy shops improved sales. Items like (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)
