I've have not heard this rumored replacement of the a-10 by the f16 falcon.
I challenge the rumor and would like to see press release proof.
Your comments jsproat are spoken like true A-10 lover.
I'm closer to loving the uh-60 - but for a combat jet the A-10 is
by far my favorite modern war plane.
There is a serious cost factor involved here. A-10's are cheaper
to build than the Falcon. I really doubt the Falcon can ad
much to the A-10's current ground attack role.
As far as building a Lego A-10 -- I don't think there is a problem
in building one in light grey. The hardest piece I'm trying to
re-create is the front portion of the canopy.
Anyone have a suggested piece? I thinking about using one of these
pieces (used here in the cockpit of a uh-60)

The rear canopy will be the same as used in the A-wing star wars set (or is it
B-wing).
the green someone mentioned its not dark enough. the disco green that
lego uses for town grass etc is not the look I want.....
