Now, now, all you Jr. bashers calm down!

The junior pieces (like the 1x2x5 and 1x1x5) are excellent for building
sky-scrapers with a lot of windows separated by small solid sections.  In
this case, you would have MORE poop without those Jr. pieces!

I vote for:
the townjr carbase
the castle crappy arch piece
the townjr truck base
the insectoids large leg
the insectoids wing

Hmmm...not sure which one you mean by the "castle crappy arch"...I like • most
of the arches.  If you mean the 1x3x12, I like it for support underneath • large
structures.  Here are my five choices:

1-piece palm tree
Rock Raiders chassis
2x2x11 super-tall column
Moo Men heads (at least get rid of the grey eyes!)
CastleJr half-tower piece

These are all decent selections but I do have a few I would get rid of • first.

1x2x2 Brick (This has to be my biggest pet peeve piece just give us 2 • 1x2's!)
2x2x3 Brick
1x2x5 Brick
1x1x5 Brick
And just about any other POOP.

Note: As for the CastleJr half-tower piece.  It is awful yes and I could • do
without it but it can be put to good use in places.  Just check out my • Inn.

Granted this is the only MOC that I have seen using the piece but I just • set my
mind to putting the part to use in a MOC and this is what came out of it • so I
am pretty happy.

My biggest pet peeve parts are those that can easily be made out of other • basic
parts.  Especially those that can be built out of basic bricks.  The new
CastleJr half-tower does not fall into that catagory so there are a lot of
other parts I would like see gone before it.

(...) Well, you're right about the 1x2x5 and 1x1x5, they are great pieces and are good for many things. However, IMO those two are NOT Jr. pieces, not at all! Don';t know about you guys, but I have some of these dating back to 1992 and I'm sure (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Sorry I didn't mean any bashing and I wasn't excited when I wrote my post. I think Juniorization has its place I just think that it is to wide spread. Hopefully we will see some change as LEGO Direct gets going but for now it just seems that (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
