I've been throwing around the idea of having a space theme building contest. I
was thinking of making a model the prize. Mostly, I would like to just see
everyones best space creations and stuff.
If I did this, would a model be a sufficient prize (or a few) to get you to
participate? I would state the prize from the beginning, but I would hope that
it wouldn't be the only motivation.
Does anyone who has experience with this kind of thing have any suggestions?
What would be the best way to judge? I was thinking of putting a panel
together. I could also take votes through Email.
Could I use Lugnet (possibly in my locality, the Gainesville Florida group) or
would it be better to have everything Emailed to me and then I could post it on
my site. Mind you, I've had problems with my site in the past.
How long would everyone need to generate ideas, build, take pictures, etc.?
I would probably aim for sometime in the new year if I end up doing this... or
if my wife lets me.
Your pal,
Felix
