X-Pod Play Off Game error page

Hello all, I have been playing the X-Pod game (currently downloadable at (URL)) for a little over a month now, and it’s really fun. Unfortunately, there are a few errors in the game materials, some of which make gameplay quite confusing (and at (...)   Mecha Damage

Hello - I played my second game of BrikWars today. A simple game of 10 troopers and a single mech on each side fighting over a field with some stonewalls and trees. It went well. Several questions came up. Almost all of them about how mecha take (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming)

  BrikWars + ESPG game Meld

I know this may sound weird... Has anyone considered combining BrikWars and Evil Steve's Pirate game? ~Clangador (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: Give him some prize money! (was: My First ESPG)

(...) That is a problem. But, if you were to develop multiple personalities, you could play a game by yourself and test the rule modifications. ~Clangador (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Motorcycle

(...) I can't really say; not anytime in the immediate future - even if I drop everything and work full-time on the rulebook, it takes a couple months of labor to compile a full revision. (...) Why don't you modify the rules you use when running a game? It doesn't seem that big of a deal. ~Clangador (20 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming)

Re: Give him some prize money! (was: My First ESPG)

(...) Well, no. Dismasting a ship was probably the easiest way - the opposing ship couldn't manuever to make an effective broadside while you can. You don't do that with grapeshot. Further, grapeshot was only really effective from close range, and (...) (20 years ago, 1-Jun-04, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming, FTX)

Give him some prize money! (was: My First ESPG)

(...) But that's braodly historically accurate. For most countries' fleets/ships/captains the whole point of shooting at an opposing ship was to disable it, board it and force the crew (or what was left of them) to surrender. For example, for the (...) (20 years ago, 1-Jun-04, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming, FTX)

Re: My First Pirate Game GMing

(...) I think it is too effective. I'll be giving it a range of 6" and -2 per 6” thereafter.
