What does the Refer header mean?
Say, due to what we figured out on the other thread, we can nix the
Locations and Newsgroups headers, and just keep the Subject and Author
headers.
But doesn't the date belong on the same line is the author?...

Why does this index file refer to the index file in the parent directory?

When this (a category) is also a newsgroup name that already exists, the
name (long & short forms) will already be defined elsewhere. I wonder if
these category names should be defined elsewhere too -- and merged in with
that other listing.

This matches the external name. :)

The external name for /market/ is currently "Marketplace" but it might be
shortened to "Market"...so here's a case where having the names be multiply
defined could get into some inconsistencies...

| (Originally in another thread. I gave it its own thread to make finding it and building upon it easier.) Here's a working sketch of the FAQ data format; in quasi-XML, to separate the files. <FILE NAME="file: /faq/lugnet/market/a...1.en.faq"> Refer: (...) (26 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.faq)
