Re: I'm back! (In a limited sort of way)

(...) Nope, not good news here. The original device worked flawlessly (not counting "prodding fingers from wee ones" error) for at least 20 hours worth of show time and eventually broke a flex shaft. Subsequently, shaft life dropped to something (...) (23 years ago, 1-Apr-02, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.trains)

Re: I'm back! (In a limited sort of way)

(...) Welcome back, Harvey! I've been wondering what happened to you ever since I dealt with you on BrickBay->BrickLink. I find it interesting that Lego did a better job with an F7 in the Duplo domain than in the 9v system, but whatever... Anyway, (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.trains)

I'm back! (In a limited sort of way)

Well friends, I'm back in the fold. Much has changed since last I parted ways, I now work for CSX as a freight conductor (graduated third out of a class of 14) and have moved into my own place. Thinking of setting up a DUPLO® train layout, the (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-02, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.trains)

  New Duplo Trains in June?

Still on my quest to find info on new Duplo this year, (URL) mentions "More new Duplo train products in June 2002" but with no details. Anyone have any info? Deidre drb@tasmail.com (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.duplo)

A new series of pre-school Lego products?

An excerpt from the article mentioned here (URL) products aimed at pre-schoolers fared poorly as the company failed to come up with a category-killer to match the success of toys aimed at seven to 12-year-olds. This imbalance, Lego said, would be (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.duplo)

Re: Proposal for DUPLO® trains newsgroup

  Re: DUPLO Juniorization

(...) Ah, I see where you have a point about young children having possible difficulty pressing down on the semi-circle plates right over the studs.
