(...) Chris, Any chance we can update the front page to CW? I have something in mind... -- Richard (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

        Re: CW update —Chris Maddison
(...) Hmmm...I'm interested. What did you have in mind? -Chris (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

        Re: CW update —Richard Marchetti
(...) Well, a looo...ooong time ago I was reworking the front page for Pawel and Craigo so as to highlight Craigo's excellent logo artwork for the site. The long delay was in part caused by several attempts on my part to try and get Craigo's Display (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

        Re: CW update —Chris Maddison
I like it! Very nice! <aside> I also like the black background better than the tan, but Shiri wanted to keep in tradition with Pawel, and I don't think I should change it; it's up to her. But black is definitely better than tan tho! </aside> I think (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

        Re: CW update —Richard Marchetti
(...) C'mon, Man -- strike out on your own! Be a maverick! Cast aside these silly considerations for what Shiri thinks! Its just a temporary site anyway! I mean, like what - you're gonna let some GIRL tell you what to do the rest of your life? Just (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

         Re: CW update —Chris Maddison
FUT offtopic.fun (...) lol...well Rich, whether we admit it or not, it's gonna happen sooner or later (to all of us guys), so I might as well get used to it now...;-) -Chris (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

          Re: CW update —Shiri Dori
(...) Hey, hey, I'm not just any girl, <grin>, at least that's what Chris tells me, so there! ;-) (...) <grin> Well "you guys" are all so tough until it gets to yer own girl... we'll see what happens to Richard here when *he* falls in love, eh?           Re: CW update —Richard Marchetti
(...) Uuummm...I'm 36, I think its fair to say this has already happened at least once before. Doesn't change my view... ...so there! =oP -- Richard (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

           Re: CW update —Shiri Dori
(...) Uh, yeah, naturally ;-) What I *meant* was... um... that... well... Chris, you tell'im. <grin> -Shiri (24 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

          Re: CW update —Chris Maddison
(...) She's got a point there guys...;-) (...) later (...) See? 100,000 miles away, and I'm still taking orders. ;-) Anyways, "I'm not whipped, I'm just considerate." ;-) -Chris (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: CW update —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) Good Lord! 100,000 miles away? She's already pummeled the poor boy clear out of the Earth's gravity well! On the other hand, this would officially make him an astronaut, which is pretty impressive to have on your resume. I can see the (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

        Re: CW update —Jeff Stembel
(...) I like the layout of Richard's page, but I *really* dislike the black background. The current beige coloring is very nice IMHO, and easy on the eyes. I also feel it fits the general feel of Castle World better, kinda like Lego brick parchment. (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

         Re: CW update —Craig Hamilton
(...) when i first designed the artwork i liked beige for the same reason; the old parchement look. also, i counted the black lines of the graphic and wanted to represent all the major brick colors in the artwork, thus the beige background. the (...)          Re: CW update —Richard Marchetti
(...) If people want to have a choice, I suppose its fair to present them with the options properly. So, see the black background CW front page at: (URL) see the tan background CW front page at: (URL) you are in a DHTML capable browser there is an (...)          Re: CW update —Tamyra Teed
I'm voting for the Tan one, I like the black... though it gets a little to hard to read stuff on a black background :( I do like how you've got it set up though! Tamy (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

        Re: CW update —Shiri Dori
(...) Agreed - I already told Richard when he showed me (when was that?... hmm) that I like it a lot. Looks great, and Craig's logo is "zimply da bezt". ;-) (...) Well, I don't think it should be up to me, but yes, I favor the tan BG. Tho'[ if (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

        Re: CW update —Chris Maddison
Alright then, we'll use that'n! Now, do we want black or tan? Black: (2 URLs) like the black better, but the tan looks nice, and fits with the rest...what do you guys think? Should we just pick one, or vote, or what? -Chris (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

        Re: CW update —Jeff Stembel
(...) As it stands, the logo needs to be changed on the beige page. The orange and brown lettering clashes too much. :) I'd go with the currently in use Purple... Or we could try Green!! :D Jeff (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

        Re: CW update —Craig Hamilton
(...) i was just about to post this very thing! on the beige background, a violet or purple lettering would have greater contrast and show up much better. also, violet being a royal color n'all, i think it's castle apropriate. there's already green (...) They're cool and all, but kind of time consuming. So maybe someone could show us how (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

        Re: CW update —Richard Marchetti
(...) I think its two lines of code that are easily removed, mostly it was to amuse me when comparing the two colors of backgrounds. (...) Naw, the purple at Fibblesnork is very alarming when used as a background. No one would vote for it except (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

        Re: CW update —Wilson Raska

        Re: CW update —Chris Maddison
<snippage> (...) I went ahead and plugged myself a bit on the CW Temp site, saying "From July 15 till end of August..." yadda yadda. BG kicks! I like it more than the bricks. -Chris (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
