I declare this subject now open to discussion. Please post all of your
thoughts on the subject here in this newsgroup. Noise or not, this is our
home. Nothing is sacred, everything is permitted.

As to the new site this is what I would like to see.
1. Castle World is all about castle fans, make it based on what .castle wants,
maybe try some new polls 2. New look, brighter, crisper, more eye chatching.
First opinions count. 3. Easier to use, better navigation, fast page load times
(smaller pictures and little or no animations) 4. Require a centralized
location for all images. NO private web pages (as it became a large problem
with the original). Perhaps all images could be hosted on brickshelf (seeing as
many are already). 5. Four or more people working on the actual site. Unity is
very important and the groups best interest will not be found in only one
person. This would also help in getting new uploads and content up faster,
force administrators to comprimise on how it will work, and ensure that the site
isn’t “dumped off” on someone uninvolved. 6. Maintain four or more people on
the Castle World “staff.” If one quits replace them. 7. A new logo wouldn’t
hurt. New castle wall or “half timbered” backrounds might be nice too.
Thoughts only. It would be nice to have a place to display the variety found in
LEGO castle. Often times, things get lost or forgotten in the Lugnet archived
messages.
