I agree that a completely new site for castle world should be the best
option, include a link to the old site and you're done.
Sitedesign is a thing that changes very fast, so something that's been made
some time ago isn't up to date anymore.
No offence, but I thing the navigation on the castleworld site is a thing
that could be improved (aside from broken links).
As for the logo, why not make a new logo? I see this as an opportunity to
start something fresh, something new but based on the old idea. Times
change, people change, and the things that people want change.
And, why not make one big castle community site where castleworld is a part
of the community site? You have one place to go if you want to read the
latest about castle. Combine all the things together to one legocastle
portal. That way, you can focus on promoting one site, get attention from
people for castleworld who maybe wouldn't have visited the castleworld site,
and backwards.
Again, if help is needed in design, I'm willing to contribute my skills to
the site (and the castle community).
