Re: Journey to the Isle of Mist

(...) Wow Shiri, thanks for the compliments! Now as I said in reply to Nathan's post, I don't know if I'm the best in CW, but I have been editing my castle pics for about a year now, and I can say that I think I have been improving my skills. I'm (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Journey to the Isle of Mist

(...) Hey thanks man! (...) Ya, I really like the way the glider shots worked out too. It added some extra drama and tension there at the end, which made it a more exciting story, in my opinion. Thanks again for your help. Wilson (URL) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Journey to the Isle of Mist

(...) I achieved the mist effect by brightening up a picture I had of some storm clouds. I then used the rubber stamp to airbrush them on in different opacities and on different levels. A few months ago I posted a mini-tutorial on how to use the (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Journey to the Isle of Mist

<snip> (...) Thanks for the compliments Pawel! (...) Yes, that's pretty much why I did the dream sequence in color, because a black and white sunset just isn't as stunning. I might, in the future, go back and make them black and white, but still (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Parallels

The Isle of Albion = The Isle of Mist? I'll attempt to reiterate a past post: Is anyone aware that “The Isle of Mist” is almost EXACTLY the same as “The Isle of Albion.” Is this Castle World creation meant to mirror this Warhammer ® game, or did the (...)   Re: IOM:A simple run (continued)

In lugnet.castle.org.cw, James Howse writes another introductory piece about the Windchaser. Hey, cool! I think this post was almost missed. By me at least.   Re: Journey to the Isle of Mist

Hi Wilson, Fritz, and the rest, Wow - wow! When I finished the story I actually let out a "woohoo" out loud! My roommate is already asking me to get offline coz I'm tying up the phone - I've been online or a long time reading this - but let me say, (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Journey to the Isle of Mist

(...) That's very cool. What appealed to me the most wasn't the fantastic pictures or the great story - it was the co-operation. I *really* like how multiple people were involved in the story - That's what this is all about, IMHO. :) thanks, James (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Journey to the Isle of Mist

(...) And Wilson, great shots of the glider; it worked out better than I had thought. Now, I just need to get my butt in gear and get my end started. :-) -Chris (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Journey to the Isle of Mist

(...) It's awesome! It took me a little while to get going, but once I got past page 2 or so, I was glued to the computer for the duration of the story. You mix the size of the pictures very well, using the larger formats to emphasize the important (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Journey to the Isle of Mist

Hello everyone. Fritz Grondy and I have just completed our collaborative story about our characters' trip to the Isle of Mist.   Re: IOM: Wurmhold: Illomen Crew and Captain

If you dig your way into Brickshelf and find my IOM folder (or look for one of my previous posts on the subject), you can see the interiors of the barracks. There is NO wasted room.
