Dateline: a small village somewhere on the Eastern edge of Legocea A small flying vessel was spotted passing over the coastal mountains, headed for the open sea. It appeared to be shaped something like an oceangoing ship, but it was traveling far (...) (23 years ago, 13-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist

(...) OK, this is my bad. Let me explain: The *mininum* amount of time it will take by air is four days. The *minimum* amount by sea is a week. But, by not updating what's going on with your group of guys, through emailing castle_world@hotmail.com (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist

(...) I'm a little confused. I left for the isle of Mist 6 days ago and it still says enroute? I thought this was going to be in real time. Anyone out there... I hope this is not going to be another failing of Castleworld... BK> (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

(...) <snip> (...) bites, though. :( If I don't get *someone* interested in hiring the Blank Shields in the next couple weeks, I may just have to invent someone to hire them! ;) thanks, James (23 years ago, 11-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: IOM: Lew's Journal

(...) Entry Four: This voyage has suddenly become monotonous. I had thought that the journey by sea would be a grand adventure, but it seems that nothing interesting has happened today. Nothing much, just the experience I wanted to have all my life. (...) (23 years ago, 11-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Why the heck use Real Time?

(...) Nothing to add to this but a me too. Couldn't have said it better. Thanks for clearing it up for everyone Pawel. I apologize if I was confusing earlier; I should have made it clearer. -Chris (23 years ago, 10-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Why the heck use Real Time?

Why should we use Real Time on the Isle of Mist? We debated using RT from the very beginning, and finally, after giving it plenty of thought, we decided that it's the best thing to use for the Isle of Mist. Here are some reasons: 1) The Isle of Mist (...) (23 years ago, 10-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist

In-character post by Franz, prince and heir of the Lion Kingdom, son of Cleo and Marck. The time: about two moons ago. ----- I open the door and enter the short hallway. The pictures on the wall, though familiar to me, are as always enchanting. One (...) (23 years ago, 10-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  IOM: Lew's Journal

Hey everyone. :-) My characters are currently sailing towards the Isle of Mist(1). In order to update you all on their progress I'm posting part of Prince Lewllyn's journal. A new entry will be added daily until the time they reach the isle. (...) (23 years ago, 10-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist

(...) That makes sense. I must've just gotten the wrong idea from the set time that it takes to reach the isle. I guess my imagination is as overactive as usual. ;-) (...) Cool. I'm glad retroactive stuff is fine. I'm about to post some. :-) (...) (...) (23 years ago, 10-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist

(...) On behalf of all of us, thanks Leah. (...) See, I don't get this deadlines thing. There *are* no deadlines. It's just realtime - meaning if you want something to happen in the morning, post in the morning. If something's supposed to happen (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist

Well, I finally have a minute of free time, so... Good job to all the admins on the site. The pictures are great, the map is very cool (hmm...those uncovered bits look kind of familiar ;-), and I appreciate the work it takes to keep up the (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist

(...) Anthony, thanks for the feedback. It's good to bring up that point. I don't have a camera either, or even regular access to one. So, looks like we're in the same boat. As for the deadlines - You don't necessarily have to have pictures. A post (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist

Okay, I'm posting because Chris MADE me ;-) j/k. I've been in on the whole project since it's first beginnings, so I don't have any outstanding accolades to give anyone (they've already been given out :-), but I can tell all of you that it will be a (...)   Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist

(...) Chris, et al.-- In all fairness, this whole real-time thing is probably shutting some people out. I mean, not everyone has a lot of time to just go out and take pictures on the fly. I, personally, have to borrow the camera I use to take (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Castle World - The Isle of Mist

OK folks, really bad form to reply to myself twice, but I must say, the hit counter on the site has been shooting up pretty good. Over 800 hits...but only 2 posts from people who aren't me? C'mon, you can do better than that...let's hear some (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Intoducing the Blank Sheilds (Castle World)

(...) Hey thanks; the "built-in"-ness of it is my favorite part. I like building mountains :) Being able to build that is less a matter of insanity, and more collecting while <set:5145> was still available. (Hey LEGO Direct, I'd buy more of those!) (...)   Re: Introducing the Blank Shields (Castle World)
