I'd completely ignore them. Do what you do because it is fun to you, not for
others' approval. Slashdot especially seems largely inhabited by people who
can't do much aside from sit on their own butts and insult others. I've
actually removed any feedback, e-mail addresses, or guestbook from my site
because I got sick of wading through them.
