Here are the descriptions of the two groups:
lugnet.fun.gaming– LEGO-centered gaming: puzzles, building challenges,
role-playing games, strategy games, treasure hunts, etc.
lugnet.castle– LEGO SYSTEM Castle™: products (information, opinions, reviews,
etc.); building (settings, contexts, characters, projects, models, layouts,
plans, tools, tips, etc.); inspiration (ideas, movies, books, literature,
magazines, music, historical events, etc., as they relate to Castle); etc.
Do you see why discussion of the rules of the game belong in fun.gaming?
Besides, as I said before, people there will have more input than those in
.castle. They may also wish to adapt the rules for use in other themes.
Anytime a forum description states outright that something belongs in that
group, it takes precedence over groups that don't include it in the
description. As an example, review the rules for sale and auction postings.
As to the Medieval Marketplace, that was incorporated after it was created, and
is still a separate entity.

Of course it is more than just a game to you. My models are more than just
models to me, and Anthony's Ikros is more than just a story to him. But it is
just a game nonetheless; using Lego doesn't change that.
