I didnt know there was an emphasis on any posts. Yeah, id like to see more
MOCs, and storys, etc too. but we are not going to do that by putting
restraints on posts and making everything that doesnt fit exactly into .Castle
go to another group. We would see techniqes if there was inspiration. and
CastleQuests purpose is inspiration! i do not want to see something that could
potentionaly start to revive .castle put into .fun.gaming. because it ISNT JUST
A GAME!
The point of CastleQuest is to inspire people to put up mocs, and storys.
The game part of it is just so that people dont have intire control over it. it
makes it more fun.
In CastleQuest, with enough points, you can build a town. it is like CW or IOM
with rules and Gamemasters. thats all! and you wont see anything happen if
posts like the roll call dont happen. the roll call got tons of lurkers to
delurk! they are now known!
I will not read or work on CasteQuest if it is .fun.gaming. that may fit
somewhat into the category of it castlequest, but not intirly. it doesnt fit in
castle or gaming, really. its in between. that was my idea. combine gaming and
the art of brick. instead, we argue about wether characters can die and if its
in the right forum.
Why not make CastleQuest a sub-forum like CW was? its virtually the same thing.
then, put a link on the main castle page (i know, have to talk that out with
the webmaster) to it.
I know posts like the roll call take up space etc, but why ban them? unless its
a totally interesting topic that everybody will like, dont post?
If the friendliest place on the internet has restrictions like this, i dont
want to be a part of it.
Sorry for extremely ranting, but this is how i feel on this subject, and i am
not going to tiptoe around it.
