Greetings, Folks!

I think my brain hurts.  If I can get pics taken, developed, and posted in
less than a week, that's a major accomplishment.  Yes, the multiple,
identical common physical settings is a cute idea, but it sort of defeats
the purpose of what I was trying to get started, which is real-time chat
about what's going on with  building/story projects in a format more
interesting than a daily report.

And could people PLEASE stop obsessing aboout the quantity of posts to
.castle???  I would think the quality of posts should be of more concern.

Imagine if one of us designed a relatively-simple-to-copy tavern design that
everyone could build and snap photos of.  Have the bartender and waitstaff
be generic figs that most people might have in their collection.  That way,
along with in-character posts and discussions, people could post images of
the tavern interior that include their own character-figs having a brew,
playing chess, sharing rumors, or maybe starting a food fight...

If settling on a single simple design for the tavern is impossible (due to
everyone having different pieces), then maybe everyone can do their own, but
always take pictures that don't show the whole thing.  This way someone can
take a picture of their character-fig in one corner, and another person can
take a picture of their character-fig in another corner, and we can
"pretend" the two corners are separate parts of the same building.

I like this idea. The Blacksmith shop could be turned into a tavern
pretty easily. For personalized constructions, people could build
surrounding homes and businesses.

Tanya, First, I agree with quality of posts over quantity as well. Second, why not set up a java based chat room via ozbricks or such... Offer posters to .castle a membership, and eventually "events" can be held where everyone would be invited to (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)
